They’ve saved the best to last. In a surprise announcement those magnificent folks in the Steelhouse Treehouse reveal that Metallica have been confirmed as the early bird Friday night headliner.
Talking about the booking, lead singer James Dean Bradfield said “We’ve been looking to play a smaller festival for ages. We’re tired of these huge endless masses where you can’t see the guys at the back of the crowd. We want to see everyone enjoying the gig.”
Awesome drummer Lars Albright said “Rest assured, we’ll be bringing the full Metallica set to the top of the Mountain. I’m looking forward to going to Caroline Street for chips, gravy and cheese after the gig.”
Steelhouse organiser Mike Read said “We can’t wait to welcome Metallica to the top of the mountain in July. Our early bird festival goers are in for a reet treet so turn up early. I’m hoping that Mike Trujillio really likes Peter’s pasties.”
Tickwits are still available.
