According to “Aviation Wales”, Iron Maiden’s Ed Force One will fly into Cardiff Wales Airport on February 17th
The Boeing 747-400 belonging to Air Atlanta Icelandic is currently in Sharjah, UAE for maintenance and painting into its glorious Ed Force One colour scheme but is due into Cardiff on the 17th February around 10pm.
Ed Force One will be at Cardiff Airport for a couple of days before departing out to Fort Lauderdale on Friday the 19th in the afternoon piloted by non other than Iron Maiden lead singer, pilot and local aviation boss Bruce Dickinson.
We’re not sure if this is to the maintainence hangars at the airport or if it’s being flown in to RAF St Athans.
